Do you have a pair of jeans that are beyond repair? I developed this pattern a while back for my just-for-fun instagram Stitch Something and thought it might be a good isolation project for any old denim you have available to you.
The pattern is printable on A4 paper and includes instructions for putting it all together.
I've used buttons for eyes on this whale but you could simply knot a bunch of thread for the eyes too. If you have a sewing machine, great, if not then there's no reason you couldn't hand stitch this guy too.
