I’m writing this with just over a week left at my first physical retail store, a 3 month pop-up on Victoria Street in Hamilton, NZ. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has shopped, stopped by, wished me well, sent a message of encouragement, and to everyone I have met in my time here. This store will by no means be the last I have. I have loved meeting new customers and being so warmly welcomed into the Hamilton retail community.
I made the decision not to extend my lease at this space for a number of reasons. Not only would the rent be a challenge to meet in quiet months, I found that I didn’t have as much development time as I would like when in the store and have so many designs I want to work on and get out to you. I also miss traveling about and meeting people in different locations, so I will be doing much more of this over the next few months, check out our “shop in person” page to find out where you can find us.
I do plan to pop up again in 2020, I’m not sure exactly where and when yet, but be sure to join our mailing list if you haven’t already, to find out all the details. I have so many ideas and plans for the next shop space, it’s going to be super exciting.
For now I will be moving my sewing studio back into my home (still in Hamilton NZ) and be squirrelling away making orders, stock for markets, developing new styles and working on projects for 2020.
I’m still open on Victoria St until December 18th 2019 and taking orders right up until then in store. Online orders are always open, anything ordered before Dec 26th will aim to get sent by Dec 28th (fabric stock dependent) if you’re needing something urgently, I recommend getting in touch to make sure it’s possible for when you need it. Any orders placed after Dec 26th will be processed and sent from January 6th onwards.
